REVIEW : Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream - Sheer Glowing Skin (#2 ; dry skin)

Heyy!! Long title, huh? So here's another BB cream review!! I apologize for the bad quality pictures. I can't find my camera's charger ><

Nevertheless, hope this helps!!!

Etude House is a brand specially formulated for people in their teens. The products are made with teenage skin conditions in mind. The BB cream I'll be reviewing today is specially formulated for dry skin. 

I've been using this BB cream for 3 months, and I'm an NC 25-30(: yeep.

My skin becomes extremely dry in the winter, and where I live, we have winter, and July. My skin flakes terribly from about November through April. No kidding. I have to say, I really like this product. The consistency is really nice, but it can sometimes be hard to blend compared to other BB creams. I like to apply this product with my finger vs. a brush because the warmth of my fingers will slightly "melt" the product, making it easier to blend on my face. It has med-high coverage, but will bring out "flaky pimples." I'm not too sure why though...since it doesn't bring out the flakiness on the rest of my face....

I really like the packaging of this product (it's cute ^^), as it has a very hygienic pump. 

This is probably one of my favorite BB creams because it isn't super pink, and IT DOESN'T LEAVE A TERRIBLE GREY CAST (yessss). 

BUT . This product only comes in ONE SHADE. It will work for an NC 25-30 or lighter. If you are looking in to the version of this formulated for oily skin, I just want to let you know that that one is even lighter than this one, hovering around about an NC 20-25 :/
Also, the version for dry skin has 60mL of product, while the one for oily skin has 50mL.
I have noticed that since I started using this product, my dark spots have lightened. Yay!!!
This BB cream has SPF 30 PA +++ which is always nice, and also wrinkle prevention properties. It's always better to prevent than to cure!!

Bring Out The Beauty of Your Monolids(;

So....monolids, huh? I bet you're beautiful(;

Many Asian (and Caucasian, but mostly Asian) girls have to deal with the fact that they have monolids.

Wait....deal with?! They're a blessing!!!

So, how can you  make your monlids POP  ???

1. mascara
Curl your lashes and apply mascara. This way, your lashes will push up on your monolids, raising them slightly. But....FIND THE RIGHT MASCARA. Some mascaras have heavy formulas, and won't hold curl. This is a problem. Find the right mascara that works for you. If you're younger, or your parents don't really want you wearing makeup, go for a mascara that defines your lashes, nothing BOLD (BioNerd recommends Covergirl's Lash Exact). But don't forget to curl your lashes!!!!

2. tight line
Also known as "invisible lining." Basically, you're lining your top waterline. This makes your eyelashes look fuller, thus also making your eyes look bigger. BE CAREFUL. Especially if you wear contacts.

3. highlight
Highlight under your brow bone. I find that an increased eyelid area makes your eyes look larger.

4. beautify your brows
This is probably one of the most important points. I am terribly OCD of keeping my brows no less than perfect. Your brows frame your face. They are important. Especially if you wear glasses. Nerds, such as I, that wear glasses must be very conscious of keeping their brows groomed. Your glasses will draw attention to your eyebrows, and you don't want to look shabby. Also, this will define the area around your eyes, resulting in a larger eyelid area = BEAUTIFUL MONOLIDS!!!!

WARNING : DO NOT SWEEP DARK EYESHADOW OVER YOUR LIDS.

First Review!!! Missha M Perfect BB Cream ~~

Here's my first review, as promised!!

I'm doing a review on the Missha M Perfect BB Cream. I'm really sorry that the first couple pictures are not upright, I totally forgot to rotate them before I uploaded them.

The tube. There's quite a bit of product.

I absolutely adore the fact that there's a pump! It makes it really sanitary. 

      
I did some swatches for you guys. I'm pretty sure you can see better in the second picture.

About half a pump of product, spread out, blended in.

This BB cream comes in shades no. 13, 21, 23, and 31. I have it in no. 23 (I'm a NC 25-30 in Mac). I do have some samples for no. 21, so if you guys want a comparison between the two, let me know!!
FYI....BB cream was once used on celebrities that had just had surgery to conceal their scars. Korea found out about this, reformulated the product, and started selling it to the public. So basically, BB cream is sort of like a foundation, but has skincare factors.
Missha is, of course, a Korean company, and I bought my BB cream on ebay from rubyruby76 for about $16-17. If you don't feel comfortable buying things online, find out if your city has a Chinatown or something, and look for a skincare shop. But anyway, it took two weeks for my BB cream to get to me (I live in Canada, the BB cream was shipped from South Korea).

So, first of all, this product has SPF 42 PA +++ !!!! But, I must warn you, if you have oily skin, you might have to use a powder on top of this. I recommend the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. I can do a review on that if you'd like[:
I love the creamy consistency. It makes it really easy to blend into your skin (I use my fingers). You really don't need that much product. One pump is good for your whole face. It has pretty good coverage for a BB cream. I have quite a bit of redness on my cheeks and acne scars, and it covers everything.
This BB cream smells like Johnson's baby powder, but you can't smell it once it's on your face[:
The one thing I don't like about this product is that it leaves a grey cast on your face. But, if you just add a drop of your foundation into the BB cream before you apply it, it will get rid of the grey cast.
